Summary: Charlie is a troubled, hot-headed teen who is offered an ultimatum by his school principal, Mr. Dewitt - either be suspended from school or work for the town "crazy lady". Charlie decides to work for Mrs. Ritchie and he spends the harvest season in her backyard. The troubled teen learns about love and forgiveness from the eccentric, elderly widow and from his high school principal
