In this study, seniors are people aged 65 or older. It presents a synthesis of the findings from a review of literature, data collection and key informant consultations. The overall purpose of the study was to review the state of knowledge on seniors' transitions by: conducting a comprehensive literature review on seniors' housing transitions to special care facilities and the implications of seniors' housing transition trends for housing; and compiling and analyzing available data on seniors' housing transitions to special care facilities."--Introduction.
